How to integrate your rail network into our rail software
4 Steps to Get Started
Step 1 - Discovery
Engage your stakeholders to develop the use cases and road map. Conduct data and systems analysis to understand your assets and processes.

5-6 weeks
Step 2 - Pre-Production
This delivers the pre-production version of the platform using an agreed selection of data to enable stakeholders and users to experience the platform.

5-6 weeks
Step 3 - Implementation
After the agreements made in the previous step, we move to Implementation where we set up the live platform integrating your data into the system.

3-4 months
Step 4 - Go live and supoort
Optimal delivery of services, user acceptance, onboarding, and ongoing training through SaaS subscription after implementation.

3-4 months

Asset Overview
Aggregating asset data sets in praedico provides a real-time, single source of truth for smart asset management. It combines live, static, and spatial data to improve asset performance, availability, predictability, and reduce defects and costs.
Track geometry and rail wear
Measurements include static measurements, such as asset properties, and dynamic train bound measurements. Measurement systems are integrated with Praedico to display both current and historical measurement data.
GIS map
GIS layer options are available on all maps and can be filtered by date and layer attributes (e.g. status, severity, source). Layers include rail type and details (e.g. curve location, steel type), events (e.g. TSRs, defects), measurements (e.g. track geometry and rail wear), ticketing, access points and reference layers. When you select a layer, the view will automatically update. When you select an asset, the map will reload to the location of the asset.
Tonnage and switch movement
Track section tonnage and switch movement and filter by date range to understand the operational performance of your track and switches with greater context. This data can be used for determining the impact of tonnage, or potential changes in tonnage on network assets to inform maintenance actions and asset management plans.
Multi Devices
We offer a range of devices to accommodate diverse work requirements.
Enhanced GIS
-
Decommissioned track
-
Schematic track map
-
Media evidence from inspection
Hi-resolution images
Through enhanced GIS views such as high-res imagery, rail operators can improve safety, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. For example, they can use real-time data to identify and respond quickly to potential safety hazards, such as track obstructions or train derailments.
KPIs
-
Deviation performance
-
TSRs performance
Deviation performance
Deviation refers to a number of notifications/orders on assets that can lead to either interruption or restriction in the system performance with respect to the level of detail (LOD). It can help asset managers for having a better performance of maintenance plans and fewer disruptions.
TSR performance
TSR performance dashboard and summary tables, including lost operational time due to TSRs, TSRs grouped by root cause, lifted TSRs per year, and Top 10 TSRs on impact value
Control Centre

Ticketing
-
Operation process tracking
Ticketing
Praedico Rail Ticketing improves digital data collection, tracking,
and management. Compare historical data to identify patterns,
trends, and optimisations, identify possible malfunctions before
they happen, and move towards preventative maintenance to
reduce unplanned and unnecessary costs.
Written procedures supplemented with checklists (available in
the app) is proven to reduce human error rates to 1%.
Prediction
-
Re-rail prediction
-
Tamping prediction
-
Grinding prediction
Track Replacement prediction
To set quantitative thresholds for Rail Replacement and eliminate subjectivity from the determination of re-rail locations to ensure the rail condition does not deteriorate beyond operating limits.
